Job Description: Flipkart is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Auditor to join our finance team. As an Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations within our organization. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of auditing principles will contribute to maintaining high financial standards and improving internal controls.

1. Conduct audits of financial statements, systems, and processes to evaluate their accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
2. Review and analyze financial data, documents, and records to identify errors, discrepancies, and potential fraud or non-compliance issues.
3. Perform risk assessments to identify areas of potential financial risk and develop appropriate audit plans and procedures.
4. Document audit findings, prepare detailed reports, and present recommendations for improvement to management and stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and provide guidance on best practices.
6. Participate in the development and implementation of audit programs, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and guidelines.
7. Conduct follow-up audits to monitor the implementation of recommended improvements and verify their effectiveness.
8. Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to ensure audit practices remain current and effective.
9. Assist in the development and maintenance of audit policies, procedures, and documentation.
10. Provide guidance and support to other team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall effectiveness of the audit function.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CIA, CISA, or CPA is advantageous.
2. Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards.
3. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify areas of risk or concern.
4. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to effectively manage and prioritize multiple audit projects.
5. Proficiency in using auditing software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
7. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to auditing and internal controls.
8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating accountability and initiative.
9. Ethical mindset and commitment to upholding professional standards and integrity.
10. Familiarity with e-commerce or retail industry is a plus.

Experience: Freshers with a strong academic background in accounting, finance, or auditing are encouraged to apply. Prior internships or coursework in auditing or related fields are advantageous.
