The Purchasing Staff will procure materials and supplies necessary for production. They will also manage inventory, negotiate contracts for goods and services, and develop vendor relations.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with department heads and senior management to develop and manage the bank's annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
2. Monitor budgetary performance, analyzing actual expenses against budgeted targets, and providing insights on variances to aid decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
3. Conduct financial analysis to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flows, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial projections.
4. Assist in the development of budgeting and forecasting models, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the budgeting process.
5. Prepare and present budget reports to senior management, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations for optimizing resource allocation.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and inputs for budgeting and forecasting purposes, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
7. Conduct cost-benefit analysis on proposed projects or initiatives, evaluating their financial feasibility and impact on the bank's overall budget.
8. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of financial controls and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
9. Support the finance team in ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as required.
10. Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the bank's financial planning and budgeting processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Government Financial Manager - CGFM, Certified Financial Analyst - CFA) are advantageous.
2. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting principles and practices.
3. Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills to analyze complex financial data and create accurate financial projections.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
5. Solid understanding of financial systems and software, with experience in using budgeting and forecasting tools.
6. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy while working with large volumes of data.
7. Effective communication and presentation skills to convey financial information and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
9. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
10. Knowledge of banking or financial industry regulations and practices is preferred.
